Various craft facilities are available for resident artists as well as for other institutions such as universities. Currently, spaces are ready for metal, carpentry, and media, and spaces for other activities are continuously being prepared. The crafts shop program, which will come into full operation after the 2nd remodeling, will be managed by a technician to support its users, and programs for participants from the general public through its experience learning programs will begin. The crafts shop program will promote experimental work and specialization, while supporting various forms of artistic materials and technical experimentations. Especially, the program will operate technical collaboration seminars with companies located within nearby industrial complexes such as Shihwa and Banwol industrial complexes, connecting the resident artists’ working methods to the modern industrial production system through university-company collaboration programs. The creative environment will be improved in accordance with the new residents (54 studios in total) who came after the 2nd remodeling, and safety management will be reinforced by assigning a technician within the crafts shop. Also, the Center plans to open a crafts workshop, including artist re-education programs, elaboration education programs, practice and participatory workshops for middle/high school teens and the general public
