GCC hosts Art Work Storage program for artists with art works that require particular care and management due to its scale (in the case of installation), special works that are hard to store, or works that can be easily damaged or lost, for a certain period of time. The storage is provided in the beginning of each year in accordance with spaces that become available as previous rentals expire. Artists who use storage must pay the given amount of rental fee as noted in the contact. Rental period is usually a year, and can be extended—Please refer to the rental fee table The storage is operated year round for contemporary artists who are in need of space for disassembling and storing large scale installations or works that are not excessively sensitive to environmental changes. Also, the storage temporarily keeps works or materials that are produced throughout Gyeonggi Creation Center’s resident artist program, special exhibits or art projects. The objective is to promote efficient space usage for various projects.
